Here’s what you’ll need:
- Fabric A (head/hands/feet/outer ears) - fat quarter or ¼ yard of medium weight woven without much stretch, like light canvas, cotton duck, or brushed cotton twill
- Fabric B (body/arms/inner ears) - fat quarter or ⅓ yard of light to mid weight woven without much stretch, like quilting cotton, linen blends, heavier chambray or shirting
- Sewing machine with coordinating thread
- Small scrap of 100% wool felt (cheeks)
- 6 oz. Poly-Fil stuffing
- Tweezers or hemostats
- Chopstick or pencil for sewing
- Snips
- Scissors
- Pinking shears
- Marking pen
- Pins
- Black and pink embroidery floss
- Embroidery needle
- Hand sewing needle
- Iron and ironing surface
- PDF pattern
Additional Materials for Skirt:
- 6” x 18” piece of lightweight woven, such as cotton lawn, swiss dot, shirting, lightweight linen, linen blends or chambray
- 10” of 1/4" elastic
- Safety pin
