thank you....quilt 101 was excellent teaching/teacher! I have dabbled in quilting, first on my own, then took a quilting class about 15 yrs ago, and it was fun....but busy life kept me from practicing. After 6 yrs now dormant sewing....ive practically forgot everything, ON MY OWN, so this class was just wonderful. Im again inspired! I am 75. Eyesight is now challenging....but I am excited to begin again. BTW, I love my very old Singer sewing machine Ive had for 52 yrs now I bought second hand from a professional seamstress whose kids bought her new Singer for Xmas & wanted her to sell & use new one. I promised her I would always take care of it and get it tuned up....and depending on my hours of sewing...I do get it tuned up. It purrs when it's freshly tuned, I love that sound. But Im a r4etired music teacher....sewing was my therapy away from piano and I made lots of little gifts. Old age eyesight is now frustrating me......but Im willing to go slower (I like everything fast in the olden days)....and accomplish fun projects for gifts. Like maybe quilted decretive pillows. Or baby quilts. Or twin bed quilts for my granddaughters.....or for their dolls! thank you teacher. Class 101 was super inspiring. Kari V.
