In this class, paper flower artist Lia Griffith shows how to create realistic paperwhites using the Cricut Explore cutting machine. Lia demonstrates how to use the scoring tool to create perfect creases in the flowers and leaves, and then shows how to assemble the blooms to make a stunning arrangement.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Computer
  • Cricut Explore
  • LightGrip cutting mat
  • Cricut spatula
  • 4 sheets leaf green metallic paper
  • 3 sheets white metallic paper
  • Laser printer (optional)
  • Flower pot or container
  • Stones or moss
  • Styrofoam ball or squares (depending on container shape)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Wire cutters
  • Floral tape
  • Six 12”-long 20-gauge floral wires
  • Gold leaf and Mod Podge
  • Yellow craft paint
  • 1-wide paintbrushes (for gold leaf)
  • Small paintbrushes (for flower centers)
  • Scissors
