Cricut Crafts: Winter Trees Decor
Jenn Sbranti from Hostess with the Mostess guides you through Cricut Design Space to create a trio of trees that stand up in a container of your choosing. This customizable centerpiece will spruce up your table for any holiday gathering. Jenn will also walk you through cutting out intricate vinyl accents for your merry and bright container (with special tips and tricks for how to place those tiny adhesive vinyl pieces just right). This project makes a sensational holiday centerpiece for a table or mantle.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Get the project design file on
  • Wild Rose Cricut Explore Air 2 or Maker and accompanying tools
  • Light grip mat
  • Cricut/Hostess with the Mostess patterned card stock in Mod & Merry or other 12"x12" card stock
  • Cricut Premium Vinyl in Red/Navy/Pink
  • Cricut scoring stylus
  • Cricut weeding tool
  • Cricut scraping tool
  • 3 wooden dowels (about 12" tall)
  • Mini rhinestones
  • Rectangular container (6”x5”x13" or similar) filled with floral foam, artificial snow or white sand
  • Hot glue
  • Hot glue gun
  • Small amount of tissue paper

What a fun class. Love how she added the extra dimension with the tissue paper. I will be making this project with a summer, up north, feel to it. Just have to find the perfect vinyl saying in design space for my container!
