I have been sewing since I was little. After college, a wedding and two children, I began designing published patterns under my Kid Giddy® label, designing pillow and soft toy patterns for Anna Griffin and wrote my first book, Sewing Tales to Stitch and Love: 18 Toy Patterns for the Storytelling Sewist. In 2014 I began designing soft toy patterns as a licensed designer with Sizzix, creating dolls, doll clothes and other stuffed animals, debuting my first line in the Spring of 2015. I also love to create Foundation Paper Piecing patterns and am one of Electric Company’s #DoyouEQ artists and Media Partners. In my free time, I love to read, love to run when is warm and am training for my 3rd degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. I live in Southern Maine with my family.
