This holiday season, make a festive wreath with Alethea and Jill of Studio Choo. Using a variety of evergreen branches, berries, pods and pinecones, Jill demonstrates how to snip branches down to manageable pieces and attach them securely to a wire wreath form. As she walks you through the process of building the wreath, Jill shares her signature ideas for combining different kinds of foliage to create a wild, organic look.

  • 12" wire wreath frame (or natural wreath frame)
  • medium to heavy gauge green floral paddle wire
  • light weight straight floral wire
  • heavy duty branch cutters
  • scissors
  • light weight rubber gloves

  • pine branches/clippings

I enjoyed watching this class ,it's interesting to see how breaking away from traditional wreaths works really well ,putting together pieces instead of making a basic row of material around the wreath first and then adding your details with other foliage ,I'll try making a wreath with this system ,although I will add a ribbon to hang on my door ,thanks for showing us a different approach .
