Sturdy canvas gives support and a solid lining fabric contrasts prettily with the bold jacquard fabric. Choose between two options for a closure: a simple toggle or a two-button leather wrap.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Pendleton Jacquard, at least 12 1/2” wide and 22” long
  • 3/8 yard lining fabric in cotton or linen
  • 3/8 yard duck canvas (used as interfacing)
  • Rotary cutter and cutting surface
  • Quilting ruler
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Hand-sewing needle
  • Fabric chalk or marking pen
  • Two buttons or one toggle
  • Leather lace or leather strips, at least 12” long
  • Sewing machine
  • Coordinating thread
  • Iron and ironing surface
