With her clear and precise instruction, Liesl will show you how to make this skirt from a single width of fabric, add an elastic casing for the waistband, and finish it with an inventive ribbon hem. Here’s what you’ll need:
Materials:
  • 44-45" wide fabric light-to-medium-weight
  • Approximately 1 yard of 3/4" wide elastic
  • 1 1/2 yards of coordinating ribbon at least 1/4" wide
  • Coordinating thread
  • Measuring tape
Basic sewing tools:
  • Iron
  • Sewing machine
  • Scissors

I think she should mentioned her stitch settings and where she joined the two edges together also on the edges should have been zig zaged.Other than that she explained everything well.Thanks Liesel
