It took me a lot of note taking, but i think it was worth it. I like to have as much information as possible because then i don’t get overwhelmed later.

Explain why you have the right side out *earlier*. I spent a lot of time wondering how I could have misunderstood my pattern instructions compared to what you were doing. I'm a newbie, so this was something I fretted over quite a bit until you explained why you were doing it. Honestly, while I understand how it works for pieces cut along the fold, I still don't understand how you can not end up with backward pieces cut out of the middle.
