An elegant way to fold paper, this technique has traditionally been used to fold maps. Jody deconstructs the steps to show how one piece of paper can be turned into a pop-up greeting card -- or you can combine many to create an artist’s book, decorative garland or even a crown!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Tools:
  • cutting tool (optional if you tear the paper)
  • bone folder (or other folding tool)
  • straight edge ruler
  • pencil
Materials:
  • Any square paper that can be folded
  • glue (if attaching to a card or each other)

I never heard of such a thing and I love it! I wish she had talked about what types/weights of paper work best-- typewriter paper, scrapbooking paper, etc. Also, do patterns work well? If so, which type? Thanks for the instruction!
