Sewist Ashley Nickels demonstrates how to make her very favorite studio accessory - the infinity apron. This stylish and versatile wrap apron is easy to pull on and off and looks both fantastic and functional on a variety of body types. Ashley guides you through this beginner level pattern that is comprised of a series of rectangles to customize the apron to your size. Get a classic look with a solid woven cotton or linen or use a printed fabric for a vibrant look.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • For up to 44” bust:
    • 44” x 40” rectangle fabric
    • Two strips of 5” x 30” fabric
  • For 45” bust and above:
    • 48” x 40” rectangle of fabric
    • Two strips of 5” x 36” fabric
  • 9” x 11” rectangle of fabric for pockets
  • Sewing machine and matching thread
  • Loop turner
  • Straight pins
  • Fabric scissors
  • Iron and ironing surface
  • Ruler

I really enjoyed this class and plan to make a few and give to friends and family.  Can you post a picture of how the back looks when it is all done?  Where can I go to find pictures of finished aprons by your students?
