I come from a crafty family- my Great-grandmother was a seamstress (and in her free time she made fantastic colorful braided rugs from recycled wool skirts!), my Grandmother loved to sew and knit, my Mom loved to sew and knit and made a lot of my sister's and my clothes when we were kids. I have inherited the crafting gene, and have tried out all sorts of crafts from letterpress printing to beading to glassblowing; so far sewing and knitting are the ones that have really stuck with me, but I am excited to try even more!
