Kristin Nicholas , Western Massachusetts
Kristin Nicholas grew up with 4 sisters in a house full of love of craft and family. She loves to make things with her hands. She knits, embroiders, sews, crochets, cooks, gardens, paints, and helps raise over 300 sheep on her family's farm in western Massachusetts. She painted and decorated her 1751 farmhouse in a riot of color and lives there with her husband Mark and 14 year old daughter Julia.
Kristin is the author of 8 books on knitting and embroidery and writes the blog "Getting Stitched on the Farm." Her love of COLOR is the thread that ties all her work together. Her yarn - Color By Kristin - is distributed nationwide by Classic Elite Yarns. She runs classes at her farm a few times a year.
You can find her colorful downloadable knitting patterns on her website and in her books.
