This class will be available to view on June 01, 2026.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could take all your amazing accomplishments, proud moments, or memory-worthy inside jokes with your bestie and literally wear them on your sleeve? San Francisco-based multi-media artist Risa Iwasaki Culbertson guides you through a month of introspective prompts and fun techniques to help you turn your memories into images, colors, shapes, and words that you will use to embellish a wearable canvas. Draw, paint, embroider, block print, stencil, make many kinds of patches and dangly charms, and even phone a friend. This magical garment will not only become a dynamic record of your wins but also a suit of armor for when you need to feel brave or need a little extra encouragement.
