Here’s what you’ll need:
Materials:
  • 1 3/4 yards knit fabric
  • 2 spools of thread in color to match fabric
  • Measuring tape
  • Sewing pins
  • Rotary cutter and cutting mat (or fabric scissors and a fabric marking tool)
  • Paper scissors
  • Tape
  • Seam gauge to measure hems
  • Sewing machine (make sure your machine has two spool pins for using the double needle)
  • Jersey ballpoint sewing machine needle
  • Double sewing machine needle (for finishing hems)
  • Serger (optional)
  • Iron
