Last-Minute Halloween Costume: Felt Flower Headband

It's easy to transform anyone into a pretty little flower with a yard of felt, some ribbon, and a hot glue gun. Courtney shares tips for cutting out felt petals and giving them a cupped shape, then shows how to expertly apply them to a ribbon to create a stunning (and comfortable) head piece. Dress your little blossom in an all green outfit, and she’s all set to trick-or-treat.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • ½ yard of felt in bright pink
  • ½ yard of felt in magenta
  • 1 yard satin or grosgrain ribbon
  • Plastic headband
  • Fabric shears
  • Small scissors
  • Sharpie marker
  • Hot glue gun
