Feeling creatively blocked can be so frustrating. You know you want to create something, but what? Or you have an idea of what you want to do but your hands are just not cooperating with your head. When you’re in a block, it feels like you’ll never find your way out, but you can, and you will. Danielle Krysa, a.k.a. The Jealous Curator, walks you through a multitude of processes and techniques that will help you become creatively unstuck. Each day includes jump-starts to get you headed in the masterpiece direction, and helps build skills towards overcoming any creative obstacle.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Discarded books
  • Watercolor paper - Danielle prefers Strathmore books
  • A variety of brushes
  • Hole punch
  • Pens
  • Pencils
  • Acrylic paints or Gouache - Danielle uses Acryla Gouache in magenta, opera, pale lime, luminous red, luminous orange, navy blue, ice green, lemon yellow, pale lilac, and pale peach
  • Paint palette
  • Kitchen scissors
  • Ring knife
  • PVA glue
  • Craft materials, including noodles, glitter, googly eyes, pom poms, feathers, etc.
  • Smart phone for taking pictures
  • Photocopy machine
  • Jars
  • Wooden cheese knife
  • Sumi ink

Loved this,Danielle is fun to watch and listen to ,she makes any piece into art ,has given me ideas when watching her creative moments to see any item as a tool for transformation into art and seeing Danielle working on an idea has given ideas how I would of shown the piece of art in a different way ,I found this class so helpful in helping me to overcome my artists block ,thank you Danielle x
