This class is not for an absolute beginner, as Marly is not showing things like how to chain, how to single crochet, etc. She assumes the basic knowledge, then shows how to do the more complicated stitches. I made this throw when I was pretty new to crochet, and I was easily able to follow along. Mine was using leftovers from a temperature blanket, so the pattern really does lend itself to stash busting!
Marly is just so calm and positive. Tips given (like the border part!) are fantastic for other projects as well.
