Very good info!! I was surprised that she didn't say to store them flat or bristles down as you do with watercolor brushes. I would think storing them wet bristles up, water could still get into ferrule and weaken the brush overtime. Good video.

Good for beginners. Cleaning instruction is often skipped in school.
For plastic palettes, an old plastic gift card works better to scrape off dried acrylic polymer paint without gouging the palette surface. Also, using a loop or other magnifying glass will help you double check to make sure all paint is off of the bristles where they meet the ferrule. With brushes I use a lot on a painting session, there will often be a build up of semi-dried paint at the base of the bristles even if I’ve kept the brush wet and rinsed throughout the painting session. Making sure the base of the brush is completely clean is essential in maintaining flexibility. Take care of your tools and you will get years of use from them!
