Reward Card Terms and Conditions – JOANN and Creativebug
1. General.
Reward Cards from JOANN may be provided from time to time as part of a special promotion conducted by JOANN or by Creativebug, LLC. Reward cards will expire and they have a limited redemption period. See Section 2 and Section 3.
Reward cards are issued by Jo-Ann Stores, LLC. Reward cards are subject to additional Terms and Conditions which can be found at https://www.joann.com/terms-conditions.html.
Reward cards are subject to mandatory dispute resolution procedures as identified below, which include an arbitration clause, a class action waiver, and other important information about your rights and obligations.
2. Expiration.
Reward Cards issued as part of a Creativebug promotion will expire 90 days after issuance. All Reward cards must be redeemed by the date that is 90 days after issuance. Any remaining balance after that date is forfeited.
Reward cards are issued as electronic cards (e-cards) only. No physical cards.
3. Redemption.
Reward cards must be redeemed on or before the date that is 90 days after issuance. Any remaining balance after that date is forfeited.
Reward card issued in U.S. dollars and may be used only for purchase of merchandise, services or classes at any Jo-Ann store or online at joann.com®. Not for use in sewing or other leased departments in a Jo-Ann store. Reward card is not redeemable for cash and no change will be given, unless required by law. Lost or stolen reward cards are NOT replaced.
4. Returns.
You may not return or cancel a Reward Card.
5. Lost or Stolen Reward Cards.
If lost or stolen, Reward Cards will NOT be replaced.
6. Limitations on Use.
You cannot use a Reward Card to purchase Gift Cards of any type.
Reward Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. Void if reloaded, resold, transferred for value. Total purchases for any one individual may not exceed $10,000 in one calendar day.
7. Our Privacy Policies.

8. Risk of Loss.
Ownership and risk of loss of Reward Cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we send our confirmation code. Neither JOANN nor Creativebug is responsible for lost or stolen Reward Cards.
9. Customer Service.
If you need assistance with any aspect of your Reward Card, please contact support@creativebug.com. Please refer to your Reward Card number, or be ready to supply your email address. We are not responsible for Reward Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to failure to enter an accurate email address.
10. Reasons for Failed Delivery of Reward Cards.
Reward Cards are delivered via email only. The following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed: (1) Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder. (2) Recipient’s firewall blocked the email. (3) Email inbox is over size limit. (4) Invalid email address. If a spam filter is blocking Reward Cards emails from getting to an inbox, the email options will need to be modified so that Reward Cards emails are not considered spam.
11. Dispute Resolution.
Any dispute or claim arising out of, or relating in any way to, these Terms, the Reward Card, your visit to JOANN or Creativebug’s web site, or to any purchase, return or other transaction with Jo-Ann or Creativebug (“Dispute”) must be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. In lieu of arbitration, either you or Jo-Ann or Creativebug may assert individual claims in small claims court consistent with the jurisdictional and dollar limits that may apply.
Any party who intends to seek arbitration must first try in good faith to resolve the Dispute by providing to the other side a written notice describing the facts and circumstances of the Dispute and the specific relief sought, and including any supporting documentation. The notice must be mailed via certified mail to Jo-Ann and to Creativebug at: Jo-Ann Stores, LLC, Attn: Law Department, 5555 Darrow Road, Hudson, OH 44236; or to you at your last-used billing address or the billing or shipping address in your online profile. If we are unable to reach settlement within 60 days, then, upon notice to the other party (or parties), any party may begin arbitration.
If you are a resident in the United States or any other jurisdiction except Canada, you agree that the Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement, and that any arbitration under this agreement will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), adr.org, 1.800.778.7879, and pursuant to the then-applicable AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures, which are available at www.adr.org, or by calling 1-800-778-7879. If you are a resident in Canada, you agree that any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Reward Card will be resolved by the Arbitration Rules of the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc., and that the arbitration will be in English.
There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. However, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis similar damages and relief as a court (including injunctive and declaratory relief or statutory damages). The arbitrator’s award will be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You may choose to have the arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions, in person in the county where you live, or at another mutually agreed location.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if in any manner you have violated or threatened to violate any of Jo-Ann’s or Creativebug’s intellectual property rights, we may bring suit in any state or federal court in Ohio, or, if you are a resident of Canada, in the Courts of the Province of Ontario sitting in the City of Toronto. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in these courts.
You and Jo-Ann and Creativebug agree that any Dispute resolution proceedings must be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, collective, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be void or unenforceable, then the Dispute will be resolved in state or federal court, rather than in arbitration. You further agree that you will not be a member of any putative or actual class in a class action brought by anyone else, nor will you seek to become a class representative.
This section will survive after your use of the Reward Card ends.
