The "After Lucian Freud" series is a collection of unique, hand-drawn reinterpretations based on the intrepid portraits of British painter, Lucian Freud (1922 - 2011).
These coloring pages are the work of Jonathan Valdivias (b. 1988), an artist based in the Bay Area, California. Since joining NIAD (Nurturing Independence Through Artistic Development) Art Center, a progressive art studio for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2010, he has produced hundreds of drawings, paintings, and prints inspired by daily life, friendship, and art history.
