Now I want to go buy cream and make butter! Oh and I bet holiday cookies would taste even better with fresh butter!

It was a great class.  I'm a retired elementary teacher, so my students and I made butter when we learned about the farm.  We shook jars, but I like this method better and will try it myself in the near future.

It never occurred to me to try this at home  (but talk about impressing holiday house guests - this will do it!)  I may have found a use for my often avoided Kitchenaid stand mixer (that thing intimidates me!).
