- a tray or surface for your beads (so they won't roll on the floor)
- Herringbone vertebrae
- snake or African trading beads (the more the better!)
- beads from old necklaces
- beaded "finds" like belts or coasters
- smaller brass beads (optional)
- waxed cord or leather cord
- beads should have relatively large holes

I thought it was a great class but finding the supplies such as the Japanese Snake beads can be difficult and expensive. I work for a library and thiught this would make a great craft program only to find that the beads are not readily available and would be completely out of my budget.
