Great leggings are such a versatile wardrobe staple, but store-bought leggings often don't fit just right. This is why author, illustrator, and maker Sanae Ishida loves to make her own, and in this class she shows you how you can too - it's not as complicated as you may think! Starting with a lower body sloper, which you can learn to make in her foundational class, Sanae teaches you how to make adjustments and draft a pattern, which you'll use to cut and sew your leggings with knit fabric, adding an elastic waistband. Sewing your own clothes is so rewarding, and you'll quickly have a collection of comfortable leggings that fit your unique body.
