Crochet an Heirloom Granny Hexagon Stocking
I watched this class to view the Optimal Fabric Lining portion after crocheting Twinkie Chan's Sunburst Granny Square Bag (that was a delight to crochet I might add)☺️
Me being me, I stopped at the point where you would make a fabric lining (I personally don't want a "stretchy" hang look to distort the work and stitches of my crochet bag). I was going to work out the lining on my own, then realized I didn't have to because Twinkie refers you to This class and a blog post for the fabric lining instructions! Oh happy day!!! ?
I was so grateful for the ease Twinkie demonstrates how to make the fabric lining! I'll do ahead and hand sew my lining (was going to machine sew the bottom and hand sew the top), yet I will go ahead and keep this bag in the handcrafted realm it is created in...
If you're on the fence about starting this project, just hop off and Do It...You'll be Glad you did!!! Enjoy the process...!
Super cute project and looks easy enough to do. The instructor was very good at demonstrating.
I crocheted these stockings as soon as the class released. Great fun! TwinkieChan is a great instructor. Her directions are clear and easy to follow. She's a joy!
Good instructions and visual demonstrations. This class is a little slow for me, but that is because I have crocheted a long time. I did really like the way Twinkie demonstrated joining all of the hexagons and the explanation about how to add the toe. I would say this class is for an advance beginner, not an intermediate crocheter or hooker.
Cute design and allows for a lot of creativity.
