For true beginners suggestion: before one starts a new row to explain the double crochet with y/o, poke through stitch, y/o, pull through two, y/o, pull through remaining two loops on hook. It was explained after a few stitches into the row. Like the pattern. Easy and looks good.

Very well demostrated and explained! Easy to follow along. I consider myself a beginner still as I am still learning the different stitches in crochet.
