Ready to collage your way through February? Februllage is an Instagram-powered collage challenge that unites artists worldwide in celebrating daily artistic expression. Armed with the official Februllage word prompt calendar and basic supplies—scissors, glue stick, and your favorite collage materials, join Mia Semingson from Two Hands Paperie as she introduces you to the origins of Februllage, then shares a few playful collage exercises to help you get started. Whether you're a seasoned creator or picking up scissors for the first time, this is your invitation to play, experiment, and connect with a global community of fellow collage enthusiasts throughout February.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Februllage word prompt calendar 2026
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Scrap paper for gluing
- 4-5 sheets of collage support paper, approximately no larger than 5x7 inches - card stock, watercolor paper, mixed media paper, cardboard
- Pre-select lots of pieces based on one chosen color - select a nice variety of content but not have your workspace overwhelmed by materials at hand
- Suggestions for collage materials: magazines, old books, plain and patterned tissue papers, postcards, washi tape, used postage stamps, maps, decorative paper scraps, stickers, food wrappers, photo copied photographs, collage image source books. etc.
