Fair Isle Knit Hat

yarn / crafts
intermediate

Kristin teaches Fair Isle — a traditional color work technique where two colors are knit in one row to create a geometric pattern. Although it looks complicated, it's actually very easy to follow Kristin's step by ste instruction and the chart to make this colorful hat. You'll learn how to do an elastic cast on, knit a garter stitch band in rows, and join the knitting to work the hat in rounds. A chart is used to build the colorwork pattern, decreases shape the top of the hat and duplicate stitches add a bit more color.

Pattern included - a $6 value!
