Creativebug, a start-up in San Francisco that creates high-quality video workshops, is looking for a talented, creative and meticulous shooter/editor. Creativebug is a membership-based site that creates art and craft workshops with some of the most well-respected designers - including sewing, knitting, screenprinting, and more. We are looking for a shooter/editor who is creative and pays great attention to detail. We like people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done. This position will report to our Director of Video Content. We pride ourselves on our content but this is a deadline-driven environment, so the ideal candidate needs to wear all hats in the production department with willingness and a good attitude.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the film or video industry
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premier and Final Cut
  • Knowledge of balancing, framing and lighting
  • Works well within a crew dynamic
  • Strong understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A working knowledge of After Effects
  • 3-5 years experience working in small shooting/editing team
  • Excellent multitasker with outstanding people skills and the ability to stay calm and grounded under pressure

Job Functions:

  • Prepares lighting of set for production
  • Responsible for shooting and editing video footage
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Pitch in and perform other production related duties as needed
