Challenging us to get playful and messy within the supposed neatness of embroidery, Rebecca Ringquist, a Portland, Oregon based artist, designer, educator, and author, returns with an all-new embroidery design. - Perle Cotton size 8
- Crewel wool thread
- Embroidery Needles - Rebecca uses milliner and tapestry needles
- Backing fabric: cotton / linen, or other woven / non-stretchy fabric
- ShapeFlex interfacing
- Embroidery Hoop, 6-inches
- Rubber fingers or thimbles
- Scissors
- Transfer pen

I loved this! I surprised myself doing so much stitching into it as I usually rush to finish things, always thinking about the next project. This one I've taken my time over and will be quite sad when I actually complete it. Another surprise is that I'm pleased with what I've done which is most unusual indeed. I think I need Rebecca's advice and suggestions on other things I encounter too!
