The pattern runs really small (no, I didn’t knit too tightly!). I suggest using the S/M as a child’s size and M/L as a small adult. Don’t use this pattern if you have a large head!

I’ve been knitting for 50 years and just learned some great techniques for working a fair isle pattern: 1. How to carry the second color yarn so there’s no puckering of the fabric. 2. A new way to cast on and keep the edge loose. 3. A better way to increase stitches. Thanks! You kept me engaged throughout. Great teacher!

Delightful! I'm an "advanced beginner" and this was a really helpful class. I learned several new techniques - colorwork with a chart, switching needle sizes, using double pointed needles. I appreciate that you take the time to talk through your way of thinking as you go, especially when you demonstrate how to correct a mistake. Thank you for your encouragement to pay attention to the 'why' and not just follow a pattern. I think that is helping me advance forward from beginner. Thank you!
