Sew an origami-inspired triangle bag with author, illustrator, and maker Sanae Ishida. This simple and stylish design has been around for generations in Japan, and you can sew it in under an hour, no pattern necessary. - 1 1/2 yards woven fabric for the bag (linen, cotton, cotton canvas)
- 1/4 yard fabric for the handle
- Sewing machine & coordinating thread
- Hand sewing needle
- Marking tool
- Fabric shears
- Small scissors
- Ruler
- Iron and ironing surface
- Pins
- Seam ripper
Fabric needed by size (all seam allowances are 1.5"):
- Large - 18.5" x 52.5" to make a 17" x 51" bag
- Medium - 15.5" x 43.5" to make a 14" x 42" bag
- Small - 11.5" x 31.5" to make a 10" x 30" bag

This is such a wonderful class! I’m a beginner and appreciated all the shots of how exactly Sanae was sewing. I have the book that has this pattern but got confused on the folding so it was helpful to see it. Thank you so much for creating this class! I can’t wait to sew up these bags. :)
