These charming nature pals are perfect for little hands to grab onto and cherish. They’re made from wool felt, which doesn’t fray so it’s forgiving to work with and lovely to the touch. Alison from Kata Golda imbues these tiny critters with big personalities through her imaginative details. She shows how to sew them with a combination of hand stitching and machine sewing, in each design so you can create a trio of the plush, adorable nature pals. Here’s what you’ll need:
Materials:
  • Nature Pals downloaded template printed on card stock and cut out
  • Recycled poly fiber fill
  • Two 5x5 pieces of wool felt for each pal
  • Fabric shears
  • Scissors for paper
  • Small scissors
  • Seam ripper
  • Size 5 crewel needles
  • Marking pencil or pen (optional)
  • Embroidery floss in black and light brown
  • Glue Stick
  • Sewing machine and black sewing thread

I' looking forward to making a few of these for my granddaughter who is 9 months. They are soft, they are safe and washable. (I intend on using washed wool due to shrinkage)
