This sweet and simple class shows you how to stitch a tiny critter customizable to look like your favorite pet. Amber shows you how to make a knitted puppy, but with just a few adjustments, it’s easy to turn this critter into a kitty. Quick to knit and cute as can be, this adaptable pattern works with any gauge of yarn you have on hand. (Bonus points if you use yarn spun from your own pet.)
 
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Approx. 50-100 yards yarn (about 50 yards of fingering weight yarn to make a 4” tall pet, or 100 yards super bulky yarn to make a 12” tall pet)
  • Double-pointed needles two sizes smaller than recommended on ball band (Size 0 for fingering weight yarn, or size 8 for super bulky yarn)
  • Cotton or wool stuffing
  • Embroidery floss in colors for eyes and nose
  • Darning needle
  • Embroidery needle
  • Snips
